Bernie Hogan brings over 25 years of advocacy and leadership experience gained in various sectors both in Australia and overseas. Currently employed as Chief Executive at the Queensland Hotels Association, Bernie began his career working in hospitality and accommodation venues in north Queensland, Brisbane and London, UK. Bernie recognises the value of a coordinated approach for the advocacy of hospitality and tourism industries, to ensure all parts of the industry are heard, and their challenges appreciated in policy outcomes. Bernie is experienced in government liaison and is an active participant in many Government Advisory Committees including the Premier’s Queensland Industry Recovery Alliance.
