Cathy Fitzgibbons is a Director of The Glen Hotel, where she works alongside her husband Brian Fitzgibbons, a third generation publican, to lead one of Queensland’s most successful and beloved family owned hospitality destinations.

Cathy has played a key role in the growth and evolution of The Glen Hotel, helping transform the business into a thriving hospitality precinct featuring multiple dining experiences, event spaces, and 43 premium hotel suites.

Together, Cathy and Brian continue to build upon the
legacy established by previous generations, with significant expansion plans underway, including a further 60 hotel rooms and ongoing investment in the future of Queensland hospitality.

Earlier in her career, Cathy was a solicitor. Her legal expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills have been instrumental in supporting the hotel’s growth, governance, operations, and team development.

A passionate advocate for people first hospitality, Cathy brings a valuable female perspective to an industry where women often drive family dining decisions, event bookings, and guest experiences.
