Dr Anna Kiaos

Founder, Mind Culture Life Australia

Dr Anna Kiaos is an organisational ethnographer and researcher with the Discipline of Psychiatry and Mental Health at UNSW Sydney. She studies how people actually do their work — what gets said, what gets done, and what falls into the gap between the two.

For more than two decades, Anna has been engaged by organisations across hospitality, public service, healthcare, mining, education, and corporate Australia, usually when something has gone seriously wrong and an independent, clinically grounded read on culture is needed.

She is the founder of Mind Culture Life Australia and the creator of its Culture Pressure Map — a framework used by organisational leaders to identify psychological and cultural risk before it becomes an incident, a claim, or a headline.

Hospitality is an industry Anna loves: the realness of its people, the way its teams look after each other, and the way pubs and venues hold the communities around them together. She speaks regularly to leaders on culture, mental health, and the new legal landscape of psychosocial safety at work.
